I'm Dee Prigel

ROOTED IN AGRICULTURE

I grew up on a farm raising Angus cattle and field crops, and spent years showing livestock through

4-H and FFA. That way of life stuck with me. It shaped my work ethic, my connection to the land, and my appreciation for the little things most people overlook.


WORKING WITH DOGS

Dogs have always been a big part of that life. I grew up training Border Collies and competing in obedience and agility, which taught me patience, timing, and how to work with animals instead of against them. That still carries into how I approach sessions today.


WHERE I AM NOW

Life looks a little different now. My husband is in the Army, which brought us to Pennsylvania and, for the first time, away from the farm. It is still a part of who I am, and I have stayed connected to that world, just in a different way.

My Approach

REAL OVER PERFECT

Photography, for me, is not about creating something perfect. It is about preserving something real. The life you have built, the work behind it, and the people and animals that are part of it every day.


THE IN-BETWEEN MATTERS

The moments that matter most are usually the ones you do not plan. The in-between, the everyday, the things that feel ordinary now but will not always be.


A RELAXED APPROACH

I keep sessions easy and unstructured, allowing things to unfold naturally instead of forcing them. Whether it is your family, your farm, your business, or the dog always right there beside you, my goal is to document it honestly.

Nothing overly posed. Nothing forced. Just real life, exactly as it is and exactly as it feels.
